JERSEYSTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (“STEM”) education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities. We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities. This individual plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's marketing efforts by providing insights and recommendations to optimize engagement, increase awareness, and foster meaningful relationships with corporate partners. Understanding the motivations and interests of corporations is key to this role, as it informs targeted marketing strategies and aligns with JerseySTEM's mission and values.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   Under the direction of organization leadership, the Head of Finance will plan, organize, direct and manage financial activities including budgeting, cash flow, expense reimbursement, matching gift management, and corporate/local sponsorship. The Head of Finance will advise volunteers and organization leadership on finance-related issues and will develop, coordinate and implement financial policies and procedures across the organization.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   - The Finance Manager will support a senior executive and will play a critical role in supporting the finance functions. This position is also responsible for developing and updating the Finance department’s policies and procedures. - You are a creative problem-solver and self-starter who is resilient in a fast-paced environment. - We are looking for a team member volunteer to continue adding to our great culture!

JerseySTEM is looking for a Department Head who can help us establish and manage the infrastructure to effectively and efficiently access this stream of funding for JerseySTEM.

The incumbent manages the planning, organizing and directing of human resources activities in support of the mission of the organization. 

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   The Assistant Head of HR will partner with the Head of HR in planning, organizing and directing human resources activities in support of the mission of the organization.

Also, you will have the opportunity to bring creative ideas to develop recruiting programs and streamline processes associated with the entire recruitment function.

This position has the opportunity to scale a team to support JerseySTEM's mission. Also, you will have the opportunity to bring creative ideas to develop recruiting programs and streamline processes associated with the entire recruitment function.

This is a pro-bono Unpaid volunteer position.   JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.   The Internship Program Manager will oversee the internship program within JerseySTEM. This position has the opportunity to support the interns that join us for 1-6 months across JerseySTEM’s departments and teams. You will also have the opportunity to bring creative ideas to develop and streamline processes associated with the internship program. Many of our interns are in their F1-Optional Practical Training period, as Federal Work Study grantees or other programs.

This is a pro-bono Unpaid volunteer position.   JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.   The iCIMS Lead is the “owner” or subject matter expert of iCIMS Core HCM. This position takes on the responsibility of ensuring the meticulous alignment of accurate best practice business processes, workflows, and critical system dependencies within the iCIMS HR system.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   This position will be overseeing the entire onboarding process from background to volunteers being officially onboarded with JerseySTEM. In partnership with the Recruiting Partners, this individual will gather new volunteers who are being offered an opportunity with us and ensure consistent communication with new volunteers. 

This is a Unpaid pro-bono volunteer position. JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. Under the direction of the Head of Human Capital, the Learning & Development Lead will plan, organize and manage training and development activities for all volunteers. This includes assessing training needs & implementing training for existing volunteers as well as conducting training for all new volunteers joining JerseySTEM team. Examples of projects include Recruitment workflow training, Recruitment tools training and partnering with operational leaders for their specific training needs.
